Because It Is There is a 3D third-person shooter with base-building elements, you will uncover the truth of a unique post-apocalyptic future.

A special four-dimensional space—VORTEX—descends upon Earth. Players take on the role of a new commander, assembling a team to explore the mysterious and dangerous Spiral Tower, and upgrading various mech characters. Gather resources, recruit personnel, manage your exploration base, defeat space-time monsters, and decipher high-tech ruins.

In this project, I undertook the dual responsibilities of Game Director and Lead Game Designer, where I was instrumental in developing all gameplay systems and the structure of puzzle progression, while also guiding every facet of the game's development across different departments.

I established a set of fundamental design principles that served as a benchmark not only for the design team but also as a universal reference point for all areas of development.

These principles steered the game's direction, ensuring that every aspect of the player experience aligned with our three key pillars.
